Want to know more about Smith Rock State Park's explosive past and get up close and personal with some really cool rocks? From Indian lore to the science behind the park's formation, you've got a few opportunities still left in June and July.

Join Smith Rock Interpretive Naturalist David Vick and explore the dramatic geological events that created Smith Rock. Get all of your geology questions answered and learn about the Crooked River Caldera and Oregon’s spectacular landscapes.

Dates:  Sundays, June 18, June 25, and July 2. 
Time:  10:00 AM -1:00 PM

Go into the park via the Chute Trail or Canyon Trail. Go to the bottom of the Service Road near the footbridge, about a 10-minute walk from the Welcome Center.
